Der Israelisch-amerikanische Streetartists wird gleich zweimal während der STROKE.02 zu sehen sein: in der Sonderausstellung “Urban Avantgarde” und bei Wiens bester Streetartgalerie “INOPERAbLE”. Das hier abgebildete Werk wird als Lithografie erhältlich sein. Remi Rough wird von Laura McNamara aus Birmingham präsentiert. Remi ist ausserdem Teil der Graffiti Crew “Agents of Change” deren Kurzfilm “Ghostvillage Project” auch während der STROKE.02 gezeigt wird. Remi Rough will be presented by Laura McNamara from Birmingham. He’s also part of the UK Graffiti Crew “Agents of Change” that will be showing their movie “Ghostvillage Project” at STROKE.02.  => more Remi Rough

Der belgische Künstler ROA – bekannt durch seine überlebensgrosse Tiere – ist der “rising star” der internationalen Streetartszene. Nach ausverkauften Ausstellungen in Paris und London steht nur seine nächste Show in New York an. Alle Besucher der STROKE.02 können sich von Roas Talent ein eigenes Bild machen. Für die Sonderausstellung “Urban Avantgarde” ist es uns gelungen, ein fantastisches Werk des Newcomers zu ergattern. Belgian artist Roa – known for his supersize animals – is the rising star in the international streetart scene. His sold-out shows in Paris and London are folllowed by his next exhibition in New York. All visitors of STROKE.02 will have the chance to see an amazing piece of ROA in our special exhibition “Urban Avantgarde”.

Wir freuen uns, unseren neuen Art-Partner vorstellen zu können: L.A. Art Machine zeichneten zuletzt für den atemberaubenden Auftritt der L.A. Graffiti Legenden Mear One, El Mac & Retna sowie Kofie One (wir präsentieren Kofie One in unserer Sonderausstellung “Urban Avantgarde”) während der 2010 L.A. Art Show verantwortlich. Die L.A. Art Machine Künstler, um Kurator Bryson Strauss, werden im Oktober in Berlin während der STROKE.03 erneut ihr Können unter Beweis stellen. We’re happy to give a warm welcome to our new art-partner. L.A. Art Machine retrieved lots of attention early this year by organizing their project “Vox Humana” with 4 of L.A.’s finest Graffiti-Artists: Mear One, El Mac & Retna as well as Kofie One (we’re happy to present Kofie One at our special exhibition “Urban Avantgarde”). Bryson Strauss and the L.A. ART MACHINE will participate in STROKE.03 early october this year in Berlin and impress with more breathtaking work. If you would like to see the guys earlier this year – you should travel to Basel and visit Volta.
